Parental/Guardian Attendance

We invite and recommend that a parent or guardian of the child attend the appointment with the child. We believe that this may help your child with making a more gradual transition to our office. On future appointments we usually suggest that you wait outside the treatment room during the appointment. We believe that this allows us to build better confidence and trust with your child. However, if you feel that you should attend the appointment with your child, you can join us in the appointment.

To provide the greatest amount of safety to your child and others, we ask that all other children (who are not receiving any service or treatment) remain in the main lobby or reception room with a supervised adult.
